Bridgepoint was attracted to the investment as it was able to support the company's management in consolidating its existing network, undertake selective acquisitions in France as well as exploring the opportunity for the Nocibé formula to be rolled out in other European markets.
By the time Nocibé had been acquired in 2005 by Charterhouse Capital in a transaction totalling €500 million its revenues had increased by 30% and the number of stores risen by 25%.
