Doug Kimmelman

ECP Senior Partner/ECP Founder

Doug established ECP in April 2005 and serves as its Senior Partner. He is a member of ECP's Investment Committee and Bridgepoint’s Group Management Committee.

Prior to founding ECP, Doug spent 22 years with Goldman Sachs in its Investment Banking and J. Aron Commodities divisions focusing on the power, utilities and infrastructure sectors. Doug also played a leadership role at Goldman Sachs in building their electricity risk management and trading business and principal investing business in power generation and related energy assets. 

Doug received a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
