Terveystalo is Finland’s largest private healthcare service provider, offering a unique care package of occupational health and primary healthcare, alongside surgical treatments at over 150 cities. In 2009 Bridgepoint delisted the business from the Stock Exchange.
As the demand for healthcare services in Finland increases, the need for private sector intervention has grown. Terveystalo made three strategic and 12 bolt-on acquisitions for strategic expansion purposes into other areas of healthcare as it consolidated its market and built market share. Terveystalo has strong revenue and profit growth potential supported by favourable market dynamics and by margin enhancement through operational improvement initiatives.
In September 2013 Terveystalo was sold to EQT for an undisclosed sum.
