Mikael is Chairman of Bridgepoint's business in the Nordic region and joined Bridgepoint in 2006.

Prior to joining Bridgepoint he spent twenty years with the Boston Consulting Group, as the founder and leader of its Nordic Operations and Nordic Healthcare Practice group.

Mikael currently sits on the board of Stronghold/Newsec which is a leading northern European property advisory, asset management and proptech company. He spent two years at TV4, the leading Nordic broadcasting group and sits on the board of SF Studios, the largest independent film and TV production company in the region. He also spent ten years on the board of Karolinska, a leading European hospital.

He has an MBA from Stockholm School of Economics and Business Administration.
