TüvTurk provides vehicle inspections in Turkey from 2018 newly-built inspection stations franchised across 81 regions to 48 franchisees.

The company was established in 2005 when TüvTurk won a tender from the Turkish Privatisation Administration for a 20 year concession to operate vehicle inspections.

The opportunity to acquire a joint controlling stake in the business arose when one of TüvTurk’s three institutional shareholders decided to realise its investment. The company benefits from the structural growth in the car pool in Turkey and the resulting increase in the inspections as penetration levels converge towards those in Europe.
