Group Thom brings together Histoire d’Or and Marc Orian, the No. 1 and No. 2 players in the French jewellery retail market selling affordable precious jewellery from over 570 stores, mainly in shopping malls.
They were acquired and merged simultaneously, to create the undisputed French market leader and a platform for European consolidation of the segment.
In 2016 the group completed the acquisition of Stroili Oro in Italy, in line with its strategy of making selective acquisitions to consolidate the European market and to become the only pan-European jewellery retailer.
