When Bridgepoint acquired All3Media in 2003 from Chrysalis Plc, it was a broad-based, TV production platform producing a varied portfolio of programme formats.

Under Bridgepoint ownership, the company made three complementary acquisitions: Lion TV Group which specialised in history, factual and entertainment programmes; Company TV, a film and TV production company focusing on prime-time TV drama and feature films; and Mersey TV, the producer of high quality television programmes.
