Advanced Industrials

Bridgepoint has completed 18 investments since 2000 totalling €2.7 billion in nine countries in the Advanced Industrials sector.

We look to acquire growth-oriented companies with strong market positions and earnings potential where we can create significant additional value through expansion and operational improvement.

We are keen to work with eager managers to identify opportunities to build businesses for long-term growth.

In the Advanced Industrials sector, we’re particularly interested in differentiated businesses with robust technology, strong pricing power and good growth prospects that will benefit from our international network.

These will be characterised by four different drivers of growth:

  • Automation in all its forms – industrial software, digitisation of industrial processes, robotics and industry 4.0
  • Product-led companies that are leaders in their field, in particular ones with emerging market growth
  • Convergence of products and associated services
  • The continuing quest to achieve more responsibly with less.

We’re particularly interested in opportunities in the engineering, chemicals, aerospace and energy & power sub-sectors within this space.
