James focuses on business development for Bridgepoint and was a core part of the team responsible for Bridgepoint’s partnership with ECP in 2023.

Previously, he was a member of Bridgepoint’s private equity investment team, where he gained wide-ranging transactional and portfolio experience, with a particular focus on the Financial Services and Technology sectors. His transactional experience includes the acquisitions of Miller Homes, Zenith, Estera and Quilter, amongst others.

Prior to joining Bridgepoint in 2008, James was a management consultant, latterly with IBM Business Consulting.

He has a first class degree from Cambridge University and an MBA from London Business School.
