The company generates its revenues from circuit fees, television broadcast contracts, sponsorship and advertising as well as corporate hospitality and related services. It continues to develop the strength of the MotoGP product and brand to a broad audience base globally.

On 1 April 2024, Bridgepoint announced the sale of Dorna Sports to Liberty Media. The transaction is subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals and is expected to complete later in 2024.

Focused on the world’s leading circuit-based motorcycle racing championships, Dorna currently holds exclusive global rights to organise the FIM Road Racing World Championship (MotoGP) until 2041 and the FIM World Superbike Championship (SBK) until 2036. Dorna has responsibility for 34 races in 19 countries, reaching more than three billion spectators in over 200 countries.
